Erasmus Mundus Fellowships

 

The application to fellowship is done together with the EDEEM application through the online platform.

 

The EDEEM Doctorate Program has for 2013:

  • 5 Fellowships Category A
  • 3 Fellowships Category B
  • 1 Fellowships for the "Western Balkans and Turkey" window

 

Category A Student:

 

This category applies to PhD candidates coming from Third-Country nations (an official designation for non-EU states that are not EEA-EFTA states or applying to the EU).  To qualify, a student must be from a Third-Country, and not be a resident nor have carried out her/his main activity (studies, work, etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of the countries of the European Union or EEA-EFTA State (i.e. Iceland, Norway, Lichtenstein). 

The only exception to this rule applies to Third-Country doctoral candidates who have previously received an Erasmus Mundus master scholarship in order to follow an Erasmus Mundus Master Course/Programme.

 

Category B Student:

 

Candidates with a nationality of one of the 27 European Union Member State, of Iceland, Norway or Lichtenstein are not eligible to apply under Category A and have to apply under Category B.

Mediterranean Office for Youth (MOY) Scholarships

The EDEEM Doctorate Program has for 2013-2014 : 

  • 2 Scholarships 


Partner Institutions : Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne - Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) - Univerita Ca'Foscari de Venice

Eligibility criteria

1.  to be enrolled in a PhD program at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) or the Univerita Ca'Foscari de Venice

2. to be a national of one of the following Mediterranean countries: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, Slovenia, Spain, Tunisia, and Turkey

Duration: up to 2 Semesters (10 months)

Amount: the monthly allowance for living expenses is 1670 plus a travel allowance of 300 per semester
